No is not a mismatch, the wheel size is 15" as depicted by the R15 bit of your tyre size.

the wheel size refers to the diameter of the part of the wheel where the tyre sits, not the outer rim that you are measuring

its impossible to fit a 15 inch tyre on a 16inch rim . just get a standard wheel as spare with a standard tyre .stop messing around .you may never need it any waybutcarry spare bolts as the empi ones probably different..

Vwalan, thats what im going to do now. The spare that came with the van is punctured and bald and when ive sat it next to the empis it is still bigger. It only measures 15" across as opposed to the empis 16" but has a bigger tyre on therefore sits higher. The bus has been lowered so i dont think it would work even if it wasnt punctured, the tyre would certainly hit the front wheel arch if i turned the steering, not sure if it would fit the back tho. It does have the 5 stud holes tho. Think cos the bus has been lowered im gonna have to get a different wheel. Hope you can follow what i mean.

That's because a standard steel wheel is 14" (stop measuring and go by the tyre size!!)
To get the same rolling diameter, take the wheel to a tyre shop and ask for a 185/65R14.

And no, not all 5 bolt wheels will fit as the distance between the bolts (Pitch Circle Diameter) varies vehicle to vehicle
